Fee Estimator Worksheet
This worksheet is designed to help you estimate permit costs to build a new single family dwelling. you will need your building plans, plot plan, a scale (ruler) and a calculator.

Replacement Single Family Dwelling
To replace a dwelling in a resource zone (farm or forest zone), you will need to obtain zoning approval and to speak to a Planner in our Planning Division.

Access and Water Supply Worksheet
For new or replacement dwelling an access and water supply worksheet is required to ensure that the access and water availability on site is adequate for fire rescue.
Onsite Septic Permit Application
New Dwelling
A previously approved Onsite Septic Site Feasibility Permit is required, along with a new application for an onsite septic installation.
Replacement Dwelling
An address confirmation form is required to confirm that the existing address is still accurate.

Additional Processes and Requirements for Single Family Dwelling Permit
Call 541-766-6819 to schedule a site consultation with county staff to understand potential site constraints, how to reduce unnecessary costs, navigate and save time on the development review process! Please call 541-766-6819 to schedule an appointment with a Building Permit Technician for application submittal after your site consultation. At time of submittal please provide all documents:
- Supplemental documents (e.g. truss engineering, structural calculations)
- Water Quality and Pump Test (new placement only)
Single Family Dwelling Permits and the Floodplain
If your proposed structure or demolition is within the floodplain you will also need to submit a floodplain development application.
