Albany Streetcar History Tour

Historian Bill Maddy leads the Albany Streetcar Tour for the Albany Regional Museum

Albany Regional Museum’s beloved annual Streetcar History Tour will take place on Saturday, May 9, 2026. Bill Maddy, ARM docent and Albany historian, will conduct a tour of historic Albany, sharing some of his favorite stories about the curious, strange, and humorous history of our community.

The tour will run twice, once at 10:00 a.m. and again at 11:30 a.m., and goes for about an hour. The streetcar will depart from the Albany Regional Museum parking lot and return there at the conclusion of the tour.
